Kenya meeting today

This morning we had another meeting, just to coordinate travel, supplies, equipment, and concerns. It was a great meeting, the peds CT anesthesiologist that joined our group at the last meeting said he just "felt compelled" to make this mission trip, and that "there are just too many people who are wanting to serve." It was really neat as we all sort of cheered and thanked him during the conference call for saving our trip. It was really neat. We were able to firm up many things and discussed some other finer details like specific equipment and how we planned to get it to Tenwek. I am amazed that we can do this, people and equipment is just coming through the wood work, and at one point we had nothing and now we have a lot to take with us. There are still many logistical things to accomplish and then our next meeting will be a packing meeting where we will all try to fit everything in our luggage.

Here is a picture of my niece's and nephew who donated the $11.00. Mark, Emily and Paige.
